Awing retraction

I noticed after retracting the awing after our memorial day camping trip that the awing retracted back wards, meaning that the bottom (white side) rolled to the outside opposed to the roof (brown side). Any idea how to fix this? FR WW 261BHXL
TIA

Run it out again and it will reverse itself

You went too far the first time

When you roll it out. Just keep holding the button, all the way out and back in.

I am guessing you rolled out far, mistakenly hit wrong button and it's now rolled on backwards.

If you hold the button it will just keep rolling back over itself - it does not stop automatically where it is supposed to

It should roll out with the roller UNDER the fabric but if you go too far it will lap itself and start rolling back towards the camper with the roller on TOP of the fabric - even if you are holding JUST the extend button

Just hit extend and keep holding it until it is rolling back from over the top like it should - it will go out and then you will see it correct itself and roll back like it should

When you fix it - only extend it until the flap hangs straight vertical down from the roller - do not go too far or water can pool more easily on top if you do not leave a small portion of the awning fabric over the top edge of the roller - it keeps more even tension to prevent pooling

Dometic/A&E will not do that due to a torsion spring. It has to be a Lippert/LCI.

Update: I was able to fix it today by doing as instructed above. I rolled it out and held the button down and it retracted it's self correctly. I will post a link to the manual. I did call lippit and they were very helpful .
