Bunk Max Weight

Hi,

I just bought the 2018 WILDWOOD T27TDSS. Can someone tell me what the recommended max weight in the bunks is?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. You might try using the search function at the upper right of the page there are tons of articles talking about this subject.

I tried the search before I posted my question. I didn’t find an answer then and I didn’t find one now. Thanks for your help though.

ArleneH, most max bunk weights are posted in/around the bunk area. Lift up the mattress, look on the underside of the bunk and in/around the beds. That being said, it may not be there and I would assume it is less than 150 lbs unless I found it posted.

We have had and still have at least one bunk in our RVs, one had a posted 200 lb weight limit, another had a 250 lb limit and another had a 150 lb weight limit.

Thanks merrykalia, I have checked the bunk area and all the documents I received with the unit and found nothing. I will assume it is 150 lbs.

In my Wildwood bunk room, the driver’s side top bunk has a sticker that indicates 150 lb limit. It’s flimsy, I believe it. It tilts up out of the way and we don’t use it. The passenger side is more substantial and is rated for 250.

Hi Ericedwards. mine has the bunks that you can push a button and they raise up to the ceiling and I am unable to find any weight guidance on the bunks. Till I can confirm what the weight allowed is I will go with 150. Thanks for your information and help.
