Cable Management Devices Needed

The cable management strips under the slide-outs of my 28RLT 5th Wheel have broken at the end support points. Once due to an exploding tyre ripping all the cabling out, the others just due to bumpy roads.

I need suggestions for replacement, either the same kind or an alternative.

I have thought about using flexible corrugated hose but there is nothing under the van to use to support them away from the ends, at least not without drilling holes (and who knows what is on the other side) or making additional (and possibly welding) new brackets.

The original flat strips work well, they support the cables without drooping, whereas hose will droop without extra supports.

Use a door hinge from the hardware store and reattach the broken end. I'll try to find a picture of what I mean.

mine broke also. look online for lippert slide out cable supports. I was able to get a replacement for about $25. there are many vendors that supply these. I installed it and it is working just fine. be careful as they come in different widths. if you go this way make sure you get the proper size. it was not hard to install. the hinge idea looks good also. just a matter of how you want to do the repair.

I installed a hinge, but it broke again. I emailed FR and they replaced it under warranty. I installed the new one with a hinge and it is still working.
