Electric problem

We purchased a 2012 30BH2Q wildwood a few weeks ago. When we plugged in everything worked well. My Husband had some problems with the landing gear not working. it only works when the cap on the electric motor is loose. We pulled out of the camp ground and parked at a new one for the season. The seasonal lot does not have electric lots but we have a generator. When we plugged in at the new site our stereo did not work.
On the weekend we lost power completely. The 12 v power will only run the landing gear and awning. We no power to lights, pump, fridge, slide out, or outlets. Everything works fine when connected to the generator (except the stereo).
We purchased a new battery, checked the fuses in the panel, and checked all the wire connections behind the fuse panel.
not sure where to go from here. Why would we have power with the generator but not with the battery? And why would the outside functions work with the battery but none of the inside functions? Ugh, this is a brand new trailer.

Sounds like the battery is isolated from the rest of the camper other than the landing gear, which is wired directly off the battery. If you follow the leads from the battery, you should find them wired to a resettable circuit breaker. There should be a small reset button on the side of it.

The converter is working properly and supplying 12V power when the generator is running.

Thanks for the help. It does not have a reset button but we by-passed the circuit and everything is working great! it was located at the very front of the trailer underneath the frame.

This should only be a troubleshooting solution; not a permanent one.
You should also check for corrosion under the wire retention nuts.
