Electric stabilizers
So we have taken our trailer on 7 trips this summer and have really enjoyed ourselves. I am finding a bit of dislike towards the electric stabilizer jacks on this trailer. With the jacks down I still notice a lot of movement to the trailer. almost no different then with the jacks up it seems. I also had a recent issue where a pin for the jacks came out causing them to not retract on the worm gear. Luckily I found a cotter pin in my tool bag and was able to get them retracted so we could leave.

I like them. I first find out where level front to back is, then I drop the nose and deploy the rear electric jacks until they are snug. Then I raise the nose a little above level with the tongue Jack, then deploy the front jacks. Then I drop the tongue Jack down until it lifts off of the block. I set the front jacks down to the blocks, then lift the tongue Jack. Solid as a rock.

5LowesOR - I do find a difference with them down, but it's not much. Even with triangulating stabilizers back there (initially Ultrafab Eliminators and now SteadyFast)- the improvement is only marginal.
I've got these in my cart to put under to see if they help:

I wonder if the actual location of the stabilizers front to back have an effect. for instance on my trailer the rear stabilizer is between the rear door and the rear axle. I would think it would be better farther back on the trailer.

Mine is at the very back of my camper- just ahead of the rear bumper.

Yea I am thinking that rear placement is in a poor location. Since its still under factory warranty I wonder if they would move it at no cost or little cost?

Extremely unlikely. They'll offer to sell you extra stuff to make it more stable.

Try using xchocks on the wheels it should help considerably with back and forth motion. They worked great for me. I also got a few of those stacking jacks and placed them around the trl including under the stairs.

i noticed the same thing, I've added the X between the tires and some other stablizer jacks. After our last trip, I did some 'testing' at home, if I put the OEM stabilizers on a few blocks and have them closer the frame and not fully extended I have less rocking from side to side.

Putting a modified/reinforced set of electric jacks in front of the axles along with the reinforced rear electric jacks, Bal X chocks and homemade JT Strongarms took about 99% of the movement out. Just our experience with the issue. I don't put blocks under any jacks as I like them as close to vertical as the terrain allows.

We bought the x chocks from amazon and they changed everything! No more wobbling when we are in the trailer. We also have the electric stabilizer jacks.

i dont seem to feel the trailer moving due to the tires. its more side to side movement almost like the stabilizers just dont hold the weight of the trailer well. I will look into that x chock though as i see those often lately and feel it would be a better wheel chock

We noticed a big difference when we added the x chocks to our front and rear stabilizing electric jacks. Eliminated most of the bounce and wobble.
