I'm not sure about the first picture but the second one is not structural so it should just pop off. you may need to fill some holes with wood putty.

Why do you want them gone?

Because i was told the slide out motor was behind the fascias, and i need to get to it. When i close the slide out it pull more one side than the other side

I maybe wrong but I dont believe that the slide out motor would be on top. I would think that you could see it from the underside of 5er. May have to remove panels under there. Tracks and everything should be on bottom of slide.

You could get a creeper and look underneath. That way your not dismantling your camper. With slide out, look under there and see what you can see.
What is the problem, if understanding correctly one side moving or coming in faster? or is the slide cocked, for a lack of a better term?

I agree with Ida - don't pull anything until you're sure the motor is behind the fascia.

I'm thinking the motor and other slide pieces are at the bottom of the slide and not the top - if the motor was behind the fascia,I would think you would hear it operating.

As a last resort, call FR or your dealer.

Do you want to remove all of the fascia boards or just the medallion? They're most likely covering rough edges of some sort.

Didn't see previous posts. Most likely the motor is behind the outside fascia. I agree...you need to investigate underneath.

Yes IDA. The slide out is rubbing on right side at top. I looked underneath the slide out but i don't see any motor. Trunidator said the motor is behind the outside fascia. I am not sure where to look

I was referring to the trim above the wheel wells. I would think your motor is behind this area somewhere.

Was just trying to get you to look at other options before you tore your campers insides up for no reason. Still think that the motor is underneath. If the slide is moving, dont think the the motor is your problem anyway. You have a have a weld broke on the track or a roller that has givin up or shifted to cause the sag you are describing. There may be an adjustment process that you can do but with out knowing what kind of slide you have, it would just be a shot in the dark. Any idea as to what kind it is?

Tks Ida,
I agree with you. The motor will be under the slide out, it will make no sense to have it behind the fascias. I been trying to find out what kind of slide out i have but so far no luck. The slide is moving but i was told i need to get to the motor in order to make adjustment to the slide. Tks for your time
