My curious has got me wondering where the leak is and what caused it?

And why is FR willing to do ALL the repairs on a TT that is 6 years old?

That's great news though.

This is awesome news. I had been reading this post since it started and it even had me checking my trailer a few times over the weekend with all the monsoon rains we have been getting and unless its leaking where you cannot see, feel, or hear, so far so good.. Im very happy for you bsdmom... good to know that FR stands behind their product.

I made a deal with myself, as I often do during the course of conversation, if Mom prevailed, that I would take a 30 day hiatus from the FR boards. Thats a 30 day reprieve for the rest of you LOL. Now, no one expected this. Prince Forest rides in with glass slipper fits maiden like a glove thing. But it happened so Im keeping my word. I am thankful for a place where I could speak my peace to the industry. Issues I mentioned are industry wide. Ive learned a lot here, no doubt. Peace out...

Thank you! I'm so incredibly thrilled. The insurance guys was amazed by the damage. Water is coming in everywhere up front, not just the corners. He's also concerned about the roof.

My RV dealer guys were utterly speechless when I dropped the trailer off there today. I showed him where all the leaks are. He also did a closer inspection along the bottom frame and believes the base wall boards are starting to pull away from the floor- they are now at a slight angle. He said its the worst damage he's seen in his 30+ years in business for a trailer this new. Like many here, he is not a fan of these new floors and sees more problems with them that the old framed floors.

That's exactly what my RV guy said. He's never seen a manufacturer do a full scale rebuild- and that's what this is going to be. It's highly likely there is black mold in there. Hell, they may strip it down to the frame and put all new, 2015 stuff on top of it. LOL. Insurance guy echoed his concern, and the amazement at the level of damage for a newer trailer.

There is something severely off in the front. With the floor out, I can now see water coming in all over the front. Scare me to think what may have happened had I used it this weekend.

This further reenforces my belief that i made a good choice on buying my CC 38ck. This company seems to bend over backwards to resolve issues..... unless they were concerned of the potential litigation for black mold exposure (just saying). But really LOUD CUDOS TO FOREST RIVER! This tells me that this company stands behind their product.

So is the RV guy still going to tow it for you to FR?

AND since the damage is getting worse as I type, is it going to be safe to tow?

Not trying to pry, but how far away are you from FR?

Last question: Does FR know the full extent of the damage? They may say it's worse than they imagined and they would rather it be totaled by insurance.

I'm intensely curious what my trailer is going to look like when done!

Yes, he has it on the schedule in June. I'm 3 hours from FR.

There's no way insurance will cover it now that they know FR is going to repair it after doing a VIN search. They view it as an admission for production error.

I'm intensely puzzled why FR wouldn't just swap titles with a new trailer.

Me too as long as its the same set up. My Jeep is about to roll 200k and I need something less than 3800lbs that can also have room for my dog crates. That's why this 18BHXL was so perfect.
