I have a 2500 Crew with the 6.7 Cummins. My payload capacity is 2380, kinda cutting it close. I'm very interested to hear how uours pulls.

You are exactly right with an Andersen aluminum hitch. The truck pulls it perfectly fine, I even pulled through 30-40 mph winds last week. I added airbags to gain more payload and run about 40 lbs. however I'm not sure how much I like them. I only get 1" of squat with no airbags, so it throws it a bit out of level with air in the bags. It tows great either way.

With the rounded front on the camper did you need a slider?

Axles are not flipped and no on the slider. Using an Andersen ultimate hitch.
