Help

Forest River Wildwood 30KQBSS

Considering upgrading our RV. We currently have a 2008 Flagstaff super lite without bunks. It has such great storage that whenever we look at anything else it seems there is no place to put your stuff! Anyone have the above model or similar? How are you going out for a week with 4 people storage wise? Clothes thinks like that.

Have fun camper shopping

My thoughts on storage: every time you put in windows, extra doors or slide-outs you lose storage space. All of those items are fantastic but with limited space and weight capacities, you have to choose. Every camper is different and I think you pick the closest fit and grow into it.
We went to a bunk house 4 years ago, love not having to make the table-bed and couch-bed every day. Now the kids have their own space that I try not to look at as I go by.
When we bought our trailer it was at a great price with good bones but not exactly perfect so I did several MODs right away.
I have done many other MODs helping us travel more comfortably: ladder rack, moved sparetire to under trailer, EMS, TPMS, LEDs, bathroom storage, memory foam for bunks……….(most have been posted)
We travel for up to 2 ˝ months at a time, multiple times, with many shorter trips in between. It’s our home away from home, no matter where we land.
Every family will have their own needs, enjoy the journey
John

If you decide to upgrade, there are a couple of options. We use a rear entertainment model, although making the bed every night gets old. If you want bunks and storage, try looking into a fiver midbunk option such as the coachman Chappell 39qsmb
