High/Low switch on a Honeywell Thermostat

I recently replaced my Dometic thermostat with a programmable Honeywell. Much thanks to RobKat for his post from Dec 2013, as Honeywell (lack of) Customer Service is useless. I am wondering if anyone has a procedure to operate the fan in a high or low setting. As wired currently, using both blue and brown wires in the "G" spot on the wiring guide I can only get the fan to work in the high. I tried a SPDT toggle switch as shown on other websites, but can only get the fan to work in low setting and high speed will not work. There is not a choice of high or low on the Honeywell Thermostat, and I realize a toggle is probably the best remedy, but I must not be using the correct wiring sequence.
