Hot Water Anode

How often should you need to replace your hot water anode under normal conditions? Just got the TT yesterday and no manuals. Mine looks a little rough. 2018 23BHXL Wildwood.

“Rough” is no problem. It’s a consumable. “Down to the center wire” is a problem. We have a chart in most water heater anode rod threads. I’ll try to find it after a bit.

It’s hard to define ‘normal conditions’. That’s based on water quality and frequency of use, etc.

Only by inspection can you know as the water varies in every town and campsite.

Thanks for all the help. According to your chart, mine is only about 25% used.
