Hot water heater bypass configuration

Went to winterize this week and found a new configuration setup for bypass.
They used 2 - 3 way valves and created a loop to bypass.

There are a number of ways to bypass. See page 2 of the attached. You look like you have a slightly different version of Option #3. I'll have to update my pic.

I've updated my pic. You have Option 3b. I really like yours. It's a very efficient way to do it. And you don't have to be exact on cutting the bypass line to length.
