Well I could still use finding the manual slide since the other fuse panel seems to not be getting power and I am guessing to diagnose that I need a good view of the main panel which requires the slide to be out.

I hear you on the special wrench guessing it may be the same one I have for the stabilizer jacks. Still need to find where that dang nut is?!?!?!

Glad you found it. I think maybe you have also found your issue. I think I would try and trace the power wires coming into the panel. You may find a broken wire or possibly an inline fuse or breaker. Worth a shot.

And the plot thickens... so I thought maybe i could just use an extra battery and put power right to the lippert panel. Well that gets the relays clicking and jacks and awning working but still no slide.

Your probably going to have to manually run your slide as you said before. Was kind of hoping to get around that. If you don't have the access point on the opposite side of the trailer you will have to go through the under belly. That's just cutting a flap. It can be resealed with gorilla tape. The trick is making the cut in the right place. The other option is to drop the under belly which is a bunch of screws. Not knowing your slide mechanism it's hard to say what you'll find other than the bolt your looking for is on the end of the motor.

Well actually great news! I hardwired in my extra battery to the lippert panel and then tried the switch instead of using the remote and that worked! So I got the slide out, I know all the motors are working, now I think I just have to have a short or some thing that came unhooked somewhere that I have to find.

Thanks all for continuing to throw out ideas that was exactly what I needed just to stay motivated. I was almost to the point of just towing it in to a dealer. Nice to know if this ends up being just a short we have a zero cost fix!

Good job! But we still don't know where the manual crank is to extend the slide by and (or drill ).

But I will say unless the motor or the wiring to the motor is fried find the lippert panel and just hot wire to the panel.

Ok this is just my own experience and I could be wrong here but I'm my case the battery disconnect was off and I couldn't. Move two of my slides not my jacks. I checked the panel and all the wires phoned where I bought the trailer took pictures for them talked to a master electrician etc. Well end up just being my battery disconnect was off which was located inside my compartment outdoor water hookups.

Long story on why the slide out (along with some other electrical components) isn't working, but pretty sure I fried something and reversed the polarity and I need to get the slide out to assess the main panel that is tucked along side it when the slide is in.

Depends on the slide mechanism they are using most are located near the mechanical parts or motor only one that does not is a swenkwin system no mechanical back up you have to pull the motors to slide it by hand usually have 2 tracks on both sides and at top and bottom. Screw holds the motors in accessed from outside right at each motor usually hidden under a trim piece or molding.

Wildwood Slide Crank

I've never used mine, but my 2014 Wildwood has a crank (located in the front storage compartment) that is used to manually move the slide. I was shown how, but it was 2 years ago. You shouldn't have to cut into the under covering.

Well after jeffw's comment I went and looked at Lipperts site and it does look like I have their Schwintek system. So then flipping over to youtube I found a tutorial and it looks like pretty much anyone with this slide type should be able to find their motors in about the same spot. After disengaging the motor you should be able to just push the slide manually.

Here is a video that shows the process: https://youtu.be/YzqbvwCJpNU

Now that we solved that problem and I have all the power working in my camper again, now I just need to make sure the wiring is all right for the trailer harness so I dont fry the wiring in my truck again.

On our microlite you have to detach and slide out the sofa. Or pull the front panel off the sofa.

Hek, now that the pressure is off, you still might want to find that manual crank"just in case."

Sounds like the Schwintek is in a lot of models right now so hopefully people stumble across this thread if they have the need to get their slide out manually.

There is no crank with a Schwintek slide.

Bad choice of words. Learn the procedure, just in case.
