well, dealer just told us he does not recommendadding the ladder. too many potential issues given the blocking wasnt installed from factory. although we would liketo have one and it was a selling point when we bought it, we are too far beyond the purchase process now.

we bought an extend and climb telescopic ladder, goes up to about 12 feet height, small, compact, 300 lb load rating. cost about 220.00

We moved the tt to store and use at beach. the local dealer that does service and warranty work for FR has finally agreed to add the ladder after having many discussions with FR technical people. FR says the Wildwood LE were had blocking in factory installed on recent models and if the ladder is purchased correctly and installed properly, everything should work fine. i hope so. Hopefully this will almost end this ladder saga. Hopefully the dealer will install it and it will work well. FR was very helpful to answer questions from the dealer.

Well, what'd you end up doing? I'd like to add a ladder to mine as well. I would think the supports holding the roof would be sufficient. It feels really solid to me
