Is Hyper Lyte for full time?

We're considering the Heritage Glen 368RLBH and the Sandpiper 371REBH; the both have similar floor plans, but we like the Heritage Glen a little better. I've noticed, though, it is almost 50% lighter at the same length.

Does that mean its less sturdy or less weather resistant? We're planning to travel for a year full-time. All things being equal, I'd probably prefer the Heritage Glen (though it's water capacity is about half the Sandpiper), but are things equal?

thoughts? advice?
