Question J Wrap source

Unfortunately something “jumped” out and damaged the roadside rear J wrap. The length that I need is less than 30 inches long. FR only sells length of 12 ft long. With that length it has to be transported by motor freight which is NOT cheap. The shorter length can be sent by UPS. Does anyone have a source that will sell a shorter length? This is for a Wildcat 327RE

I'm trying to find the same thing out so far I haven't had much luck. I'm working with Campers Inn in Kings Mt, NC If I remember correctly the Jwrap is pretty cheap like $50 for the 12ft piece. I need 7ft but the motor freight charges to ship are insane

My price quote for shipping was $120 for a 12ft piece via Motor freight . I'm trying to find out if that price was shipped to the dealer or to my house....If can be shipped cheaper to the Dealer I have no problem going to pick it up it's a 30 mile drive for me to Kings Mt. NC

The height of your wrap appears to be about 10 inches. Our piece measures 27 long by 17 high.

It might be even cheaper if you pick up at the motor freight terminal

I just talked to Camper's Inn in King Mt. NC Here is what they told me it's about $50 for the Jskirting I need it comes in a 12ft section I would have to cut it and drill the hole to be able to bring in the slide manually. I only need 7ft.

Now here is the problem I have they want me to pay for the Jskirt up front then wait till it comes in via Motor freight then charge me the balance when I go to pick it up they can't give me an exact price quote their guess is between $80 to $150 more or less. I like the less part but more is what I don't care for I'm on the hook once I pay for the J skirt if I don't want to pay the motor freight charge in the chance it's alot higher then what I want to pay I lose the $50 I paid for the J skirt.

I just don't care for the variables so I'm going to try and figure out another alternative.

Here is an option. Have Camper's Inn give you the dimensions and weight of the crate along with the zip code where it is being picked up. Call a local The UPS Store and have them give you a cost to pick up there and deliver either to your home, to the store or pick up at a local UPS freight terminal. The price they give you will be less than what you will pay.directly thru UPS Freight (former TUPSS owner).

how about trying some independent rv body repair facilities? I know of a couple in mesa az and at least one in Yuma, az that do body repairs /modifications. they might have left over from a previous job that they would like to turn into cash. i'm sure there are similar facilities throughout the county.
