Leak on new camper

My wife was in our. new camper yesterday setting things up. When she got to the front side of the bed she found the carpet very wet. He had a heavy rain the night before. I checked all I could find to check. It looks like the water came from the plastic corners that cover the bottom edge of the slide. The side of the plastic is covered by the out side shell but the bottom isn't sealed. Looking into it there was water that followed the plastic that extended over the seal and into the camper. I will call the dealer today and see what they say. I hope they will let me fix it without voiding the warrantee. It looks like a little black rtv and a couple of staples to pull it up tight will fix it. The reason I would like to do it is the dealer is an hour away and I'm not sure they have service on Saturdays.

Did you confirm this is the source of the leak? Were you able to fix it yourself? If so, how? We got over 2 inches of rain yesterday and have leaks on both sides of the bedroom slide where the plastic edging also has water going into the camper. This is our second year with the camper and we are seasonal, so the slides stay out from May to October, and we haven't had a leak yet.
