Gotcha! Thanks. We were talking about visiting Tennessee next year, I think this would be a nice CG.

You will have a great time. If you haven't thought about it and don't have one, rent a golf cart. Makes life easier to get to the pool, lake and bath house easier. They come by at 10:30 to pick up your garbage if left at the curb to.
By next year they will have the boat docks built. You will find the owner, Chad Dixon, working all day long in the park. Great guy. You will have a fantastic time.

Slym,

Thanks for the info. My RV buddy and I have reserved sites 173 and 174 overlooking the beach and boat ramp. Seems to be close to the pool so I am hoping the bikes will suffice for the kids. I did also read in reviews where they do not allow firewood from the "outside" but sell and deliver to your site for a reasonable fee. Sounds like the weather you had worked for a fire but I was not counting on it in mid July. We typically spend our RV week at Pine Mtn RV resort in Pigeon but this looked too good to pass up. We will split our time between Anchor Down and Pine Mtn next year. I am coming that way the first week of August and staying in Sevierville at a condo we have on trade with our time share. We plan on stopping at Anchor Down to check it out.

The bike ride to the pool is easy. The ride back up hill is a toughy.

Nice, nice sized camper to pull behind a Cherokee! Just goes to show you don't have to have a 14,000# 5er, with a one ton heavy duty truck to go camping and have fun! The fun and experiences are exactly the same no matter what you arrive in; enjoy, it looks like you are set for lots of good times.

2010 Wildwood 27BHSS. Had it a little less than a year. Luv it! I'm hooked on the camping lifestyle.

Seiken; I see you're new on the forum and welcome. There's a lot of people here that can advise on a wide range of topics. Here's a suggestion; In your post above you don't direct your question to anybody in particular. Oops! Sorry about that. Yep, on being new. Just got back in to camping last year and loving it. Been away from it for over 25 years. LOTS of good info on the forum!
