Leveling scissor jacks

I have a new 2015 wildwood and have the automatic scissor stabilizing jacks. With older hand cranks you can make your trailer level. I have tried adding blocks under the side that needs to be raised but as soon as the jacks feel pressure they stop. So they done level like standard jacks. How do I keep the trailer level?

Those scissor jacks are stabilizers only. They are not intended to level the trailer. Level by using boards or blocks under tires for side to side, then tongue jack for front to back, then the stabilizers just snug against the ground. Using any stabilizer jacks for leveling can cause major issues or damage. Doors won't open, slide outs won't work etc etc.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

Are you placing the blocks under the tires or the jacks?

x3 on the jacks being STABILIZER jacks. They are not intended to lift or level the camper. As others said, level the trailer using boards, legos, andersen levelers, etc. Then use the stab jacks to limit the rocking.

This is correct.

Just bought the Andersen Camper Levelers. I'll be level next time around. That was only the second time out with the camper so were getting the bugs out. Thanks all.

No worries.
Out of curiosity what are you using for a level?

Like others have said, Blocks of wood under the tires and the toung jack to level before you open doos and the slide outs. I also have the stablizers and I run them down with power and use the hand crank to snug them up a little. It will help stop the TT from swaying while you are walking around. I also use a TWO way level that I mounted to the tounge of the TT so it is easy to see if I am Level. One last thing, I usally set the level so I am just a little high on the slide out side as the weight of the slide pulls it down just a bit!
