sorry for the late response .. I haven't pick it up yet .. I'm doin some price searching and most likely it'll be a gift from Santa Clause it a birthday present! ..

Do you know by any chance the best time to buy is?

Not really, unless late fall when it starts getting cold. There are a lot of used TT's and RV's for sale at the end of camping season (if there is such a thing in California) anyway when I was looking in the fall places like Craigs list had a lot of listings so I'm thinking new unit prices could be lowered also, you know slow part of the year and used listings competition for sales etc.

For what it's worth, I bought a 2014 26TBSS on Monday for $17,995. It did come with the WD hitch, sway bar, electric brake controllor (installed), sewer hoses, water hoses, 30amp-110 adapter, regulator and a small gift card to their store. My propane tanks were filled and it came with the same Interstate battery mentioned earlier.
Good luck with your purchase. We are using ours for the first time tomorrow.

Where did you buy it at and was it under 20k after tx and lsc?

$19884 out the door. It was purchased at a dealer in Louisiana.

ok soo I got another question .. if you need a repair 2 months down the line, where do you take it since it's outta state?

I almost bought out of town. I was told I could go to any forest river dealer.

No real issues. Few warranty things. Leaking awning and the electric jack switch went out.
