LP tank stuck safety valve.

Wife just got back from Wildwood NJ. Spent 4 days there with the kids. First time we used our brand new 2011 Wildwood 26tbss. Only problem she had was that when she went to light the water heater it would not light. I told her to switch the LP tank to the other tank (in case it was empty ). She switched it and that solved the problem. Today I took both tanks to be refilled before my next trip and she said both tanks (30 lbs each) were still almost full! I told her one didnt' have any flow from it and she said let me use a valve tester. She screwed it on the tank, opened the valve slowly, nothing happened. She closed it and opened it again and this time I heard a click, she said the safety valve was stuck and it is now open and propane came out when she opened it. I was pleasently surprised that with the water heater on for 4 days and with cooking breakfast and lunch it used hardly any propane.

I have a lot of trouble lighting my water heater as well. Takes a bit to get the pilot light going and then you have to be really careful turning to the on position. You just have to get the technique down I guess.

Sometimes if the over fill the bottle you have a hard time getting them to flow.
