man,i need help

I just bought a 2001 wildwood lite. Its great. But the guy i bought it from didnt tell me how/where to drain the water tank. I know where it is but how do u drain it????

Well first of all to FRF. If you go to the curb side of the RV you will see a black pipe with a cap on it, or maybe two, right next to the pipe there should be two pull handles and the handles should be marked. One should say black water and the other should say grey water. this is where the tanks are dumped from. I would have to assume these are the tanks you are talking about.

I am not sure of your floor plan as far as that tank under the bed, sorry... but stand by another member will chime in on that one... Good luck.

If you can see the tank. It should have 4 hoses/pipes coming from it. Two should be on the top. 1 is the fill line, 1 is the vent line. There should also be 2 on the bottom. 1 goes to the pump and the other goes through the floor. it's the drain. There'll either be a valve right on the side of the tank that you open or there'll be a cap on the bottom of the pipe where it sticks out from under the RV. Sorry I can't be more specific but they came a couple different configurations. Mine has caps and my buddy's has a valve.

Mine has a tee handlr type valve right next to the floor out of the tank. You simply push it down for off, or pull it up to drain. Randy

below the fresh water tank i unscrew plug to drain, there is also a line near it that is the tank vent/overflow outlet

This is for JeffLink but i dont know if you noticed that post was from back in april and you may not get a response from the but I am no saleman but that maybe a little high depending on what he paid for it with thing being tight all over it is a buyers market shop around and check your local dealer and see what they have to get rid of and dicker with them on a price in other words make them give till it hurts lol
