Matching wood

How do I find laminated wood to perfectly match the wood in my Wildwood 22RBXL trailer? I want to construct a cover for water pipes in the bathroom. Calling the cabinet maker did not help.

Call FR, they can direct you to their Wildwood division. Talk to the service people and with your vin they can tell you the interior stain used. That way you can find a match as close as possible. I did that recently and the stain I found at Home Depot was really close. Won't ever be exact unless you get some from the mfg. Not sure if they sell it.

Here is FR's number. 1 (574) 296-7700

If you can't match the wood use something entirely different. When trying to make things match you can never find what is needed. To counter a poorly matched set of wood it is better to do something entirely different. If you have a dark wood use something light. That way it looks planned instead of its close but not a match.

If it is the newer cherry finish you can use the melamine that is called collector's cherry it is almost a dead match.
