Question Need Fix to Stove Hood Light Being Loose

Have a 2014 Wildwood Heritage Glen 300bh. The stove hood light that has the fan in it keeps going out. Figuring it was a bad buld I took the cover off only to find out the socket is barely holding the buld in. If you tap it the light comes back on.

The light is 12v 10w. Is there a easy fix to this? Buld is like a landscape light buld that you just insert into the socket. It doesn't screw in.

You could replace it with an LED pad. Way more light and far less amps.

If you are a lucky bidder you can get one for a penny.

High Power 36 SMD 1210 LED Car Interior Dome Bulb White | eBay

You can try one of these; but if the socket is bad you might have the same issue.

May have to take existing one off and splice in the wires to the new light. The existing socket is the problem. The lights don't fit snug therefore light works And sometimes doesn't.
