Took the Wildwood TT out his weekend to a campground close to shake out the bugs. Good news is 99.9% worked as advertised. Only thing that did not work was the knob on the back of the shower head. I think you are supposed to be able to turn off the water and let it drip to conserve then turn it back on without having to reset the whole water flow and temp setting knobs. I could turn the knob on top of the shower head but the flow never shut off. Probably an easy fix or if not just an mild annoyance. I'll probably take the head apart to see if I can fix it.

Overall, lot's of fun was had by all

I don't believe those valves are meant to Completely stop the flow...just close to it. Anyone?

mine works ok but it never completely shuts off

mine is not a knob though, more of a push button valve. kinda like the old style lamps with the push switch that goes all the way through

and whenever I flip the valve back to on, it is NEVER the same temperature right away. it's always about 85 degrees colder than it is set at for about 10 seconds

The valve on the showerhead in my Sandpiper does completely stop the flow. Then again... maybe I have a malfunction. Duh!!

Thanks for the replies. I agree that the way I understand the shower head, it is supposed to continue to leak/drip some. When I turned the knob on mine, there was no change. It continued to flow full pressure.

That is strange and sounds like a malfunction.

i just joined the forum. we just bought a wildwood 29bhbs 2008 and plan to store and use at beach, ie we dont plan to buy a big tow vehicle yet and my wife wants to spend more time at the beach. this was the most economical way we could find, hope it works out. we have a small ultralite tt we use for local travels/camping. i look forward to the forum. any advice on the this model and your use history will be appreciated.

thanks
