Thanx for the reply, looking forward to many happy miles and smiles as we tour the country. Been checking out places in Fla. to possibly move to and enjoy warm weather in all our travels.

Congratulations and welcome to the forums. I live in North Central Florida near Gainesville. Great area, we actually have 4 seasons here, unlike central or southern Fl. If you have any questions, let me know.

Foretm, Thanx. Need all the help we can get. LOL We are looking on west coast north of Tampa for a 55+ park, hoping for one with boat and rv storage.... and tennis courts. Homasassa Springs or something in the north Tampa area.

Have you checked out The Villages? Pricey, but very nice. Not sure about the RV and boat parking.

foretm, We spent a week there in a rental house but not what we wanted. Too much activity and too expensive. We want to have money left over to travel during the heat of summer. Thanx for the reply.

I'm not much of a community kind of person. I bought a house on the Santa Fe River in Fort White. In the country, a bit of a ride to town, but we are close to the activities we enjoy. Boating, tubing, Ichetucknee river, etc.. Suwannee River. Not a bad area if you can stand being 25 miles from town.

Wife needs tennis and closer shopping. Today we got a new truck as the used GMC Acadia we bought had a problem they could not find and fix. So, got a crew cab Chevy 1500 5.3 V-8 trl. pkg. Should haul our new TT better. Could have got a fiver had I known I would trade vehicles so soon. Says I can tow 9600 lbs., lots of room for weighty stuff now.
