Newbie trying to figure out hot water heater

We just got a wildwood x lite 26bhxl- I have read people talking about bypass valves- where exactly would I find these valves? I'm super confused!

By-pass valves are usually behind water heater and accessible from inside trailer.....top picture summer position and bottom picture winter by-pass position

You should have access to HW from the bottom bunk. Pull out mattress and unscrew decking

You may have 3 valves or in my case there are 2 valves, one on the outlet of the hot water tank and a 2-way valve in the inlet. Some may only have 1 valve, being a 2-way on the inlet and a check valve on the outlet. The handle will line up with the flow of the water as they are only 1/4 turn so depending on how you where you want to have the water flow is how you turn the valve.
