Hopefully someone can help. I have a 2014 wildwood 26tbss. Getting ready for a trip this weekend. And i just notice that the outside porch light won't turn off. I checked the fuses everything ok there. So what else can i check?

I have read on some RV's that have the remote control, that if it was turned on with the remote, it has to be turned off with it. Don't know if that applies to your situation or not.

I'm also going to move this question/problem to it's own thread.

yes, if you have the Linc wireless remote, it will override the actual switch for the porch light.

I agree. That is the way it works on my unit.

Yep, that would be it. I took apart the sw and electrical system trying to figure what was going on, then I somehow hit the button on the remote and bingo, light went off. 2 hrs I never got back.

Don't look at it as a waste, look at it as a learning experience....

Same thing happened to me, my son was playing with the remote, had no clue of that feature.......

I'm glad I read this thread yesterday. Same thing happened to me last night. My daughter was playing with the remote and when we were closing it up I couldn't get the light to turn off, luckily I remembered this thread, used the remote and done!

Just returned from a weekend trip and as I was packing up could not get the porch light to turn off. Stayed on until this afternoon, when I remove the switch panel and unhooked the wires from the switch and the light still stayed on.... Googled my problem and clicked this forum and yes, it was the remote! Thanks! Next time I'll check here first! I know this is an old thread but it is still very helpful.
