Propane/Carbon Monoxide Detector

Has anyone had any issues with their Propane/Carbon Monoxide Detector going bad. It appears that ours has gone bad.

1st thing to check is the battery level.

I will check it when I get home but it has been plugged into shore power when it has been going off. I have disconnected the propane tanks, turned on a fan and opened the windows just to verify that there is no propane in the camper.

You haven't recently used ant spray or possibly hair spray (or other aerosols)...as they will make the detectors alarm.

This started about two weeks ago. No smell of propane. Windows have been opened several times so I think it has to be the detector. My wife called the manufacturer and said to send it to them and they will check it and if it is bad they will send a new one out.

Check the battery with a multimeter or hydrometer.
Don't rely on the panel's idiot lights.

And unplug from shore power before checking the battery.

Ours is near bathroom door between bunk room and fridge living room, i closed bathroom door pretty quick and our detector went off, i am think it was some dust particles that caused it to go off, we did have the furnace running but alarm did go away fairly quick. Has any one else ever this happen. Camper less than a year old.
