Pumping in Antifreeze
Can I not use one of those hand pumps to pump antifreeze into the fresh water tank and then turn pump on to pump into the water lines after bypassing water heater?
That's the way i did it on my other camper.
I have the Heritage Glen 282RK 2015 model.
Please advise

Don't do that!! It will be nearly impossible to flush out the fresh tank afterwards.
AND it might take several gallons to get the fresh tank up to where you can do what
you suggest. Also if the fresh tank has water in it now (many tanks do not drain completely) the antifreeze will be diluted.
There should be a fitting at your pump where you can put a hose and just suck
the pink stuff right out of the jug. It might be a good idea to let your dealer do it
for you once while you watch or others here with your model might give you specific
instructions.
There are many youtube videos on this subject.
Just go to youtube.com and search for
winterizing a travel trailer
Good luck!

Let's not forget to drain and BYPASS the water heater also!! No need to put any pink stuff in there either.

Look on the outside where your city water hook up are there most likly an inlet labeled Antifreeze inlet. This where you start. I 'am not familiar with your camper as each camper is a little different on the way its done. I'm sure someone here will be able to guide you through the process or as mentioned take back to dealer. Later RJD

Its real easy to install a winterizing kit. WalMart, or any RV store has them for $20 or less. Takes less than 30 minutes to install. That allows you to pump antifreeze straight from gallon jug. Took less than 2 gallons to do my 272 RLIS.

There is a total of three valves, the one on the bottom is the bypass valve, the other two are I assume are the hot and cold by pass valves, is this correct?
I know the one on the bottom needs to be turned, what about the other two? I can upload a picture.
Thanks

I will try and take a better picture but there is a solid panel at the bottom of the cabinet and I don't know if I can. Really cramped.
