Quality of repair

We are new to camping and purchased a Wildwood Xlite. The roof liner was repaired and we are amazed the amount of caulk along the seam and along the seams on the side of the trim work. Need input is this "normal". Our dealer had been less than stellar since purchasing!

Looks pretty normal for what I have seen on the roofs.

I'd rather have signs of over abundance than not enough where water could get in.

A Plastic scraper will take off the extra along the molding. Looks okay to me.

we have just traded in our Wildwood Xlite for a different trailer after 1 year due to it leaking. had water entering at the very front of the trailer on the inside along that seam, also had water entering below the driver side window into the trailer down where the floor/wall meet. had nothing but trouble with that trailer.

we just got an 2016 Evo and after our first weekend out with it there are a number of issues with the plumbing leaking all over the place. I am starting to get a bit discouraged with Forest River's product frankly.

I noticed that after a good rain it would be a little soft at the front of the roof liner where that seam meets the front of the trailer and it looked very much like the pic in the original post. I could tell the way they gooped it up like that that with the slant of the roof water would puddle up on the edge of the sealant and must have been finding its way in somewhere.

Simple fix though with just some of the eternabond tape and primer. Just ran it straight along the seem making sure the front of the tape was at the high point of the seem and than using the primer and a good little weighted roller where the tape got back on the roof to make certain I had a good seal.

Looks just like mine. I also had a small leak and I used eternabond the entire length of the front seam than chaulked around the edges of the eternabond. No more leaks!

Asking the obvious, but are you using a pressure regulator?
