Remodeling or T25KS..

The combination sofa / fold down bed with storage underneath in out trailer was the most uncomfortable thing to sit on so... the DW had me remove it.. We gave up two storage drawers, but are much more comfortable now... The couch had to be removed, the slide out floor recovered with vinyl, missing trim behind couch replaced, and chairs (swivel rockers) installed...

That looks great. That should be an option in TT's.

Time Involved...

Once the decision was made on what flooring (color and material) to use, and the proper trim wallpaper was obtained... It only took several days.. The couch removal took less than 30 minutes and it fit out the door easily.. The hardest part was removing the narrow strip of factory installed carpeting that was on the top front of the slide out.. They must have used 1,000 staples to attach the carpet and they all required removal. The other thing that took time was modifying a piece of commercial wood molding to cover the front of the slide and staining it along with the base board molding strips, and priming the slide out surface with a bonding agent for the vinyl flooring strips.. Once the staining and prep work was done.. 2 hours to install the vinyl floor strips, and 2 hours for the molding install...

Nicely done! You're right...what you lost in storage, you more than gained in comfort.
