Rookie question

Just purchase a 2014 wildwood heritage Glenn 272BH. We took it out for first trip last weekend. Control panel says there are 2 gray water tanks but dealer showed only one release valve for both gray and black water tanks. At first I thought it was just an extra button since some models do have 2 gray tanks. However, the tank showed "E" at the beginning of our trip and the 2/3 at the end, even after emptying tanks. So is it possible there is another tank I'm not aware of? I have read that sometimes models have separate gray tanks for sinks and showers. Note: the freshwater tank is empty as well...help a rookie out!

I'm not familiar with you camper, but have you looked aft of the axles for another sewer hookup and valve?

I'm sure someone will chime in soon.

WELCOME

On my 'Glen 368rbhk, there is a second pull handle for my rear tank right next to the sewage hose hookup. It is well disguised there. The other gray tank is forward of this assembly and has stickers labeling each of the two forward handles. One black, one gray.

Not sure of your set up but I have 4 tanks which all have Seperate Handles for dumping.

* 1 black Seperate Handle for dumping
* 1 gray (batch shower/sink) Seperate Handle for dumping
* 1 gray (Kitchen Island Sink) Seperate Handle for dumping
* 1 gray (Outside Kitchen) Seperate Handle for dumping

Also note that sometimes those sensor readings are occasionally off. I have dumped all my tanks and still find some tanks are still ready 1/3 full.

NEVER rely on factory tank sensors, there almost always wrong.

Do you have an outside kitchen or rear sink?
Generally those will have a smaller gray tank with a separate dump valve and outlet.

Your model lists 64 gallons of gray water. That most always means two 32 gallon tanks. Looking at the floor plan I'd say one is under the bath area and another is under the kitchen area.

I found a release handle for the second gray water tank toward the front of the camper. It was somewhat hidden. Thanks for all of your help! Great to know these forums are here to help rookies like me!
