Scissor Jack Size

Folks,
Been searching for a while but can't find an answer. Should I choose 24" or 30" scissor jacks for my trailer (2019 Heritage Glen LTZ). I can't remember the frame height from the ground, but I'm pretty sure it was less than 24" when setting up the Equalizer.

Do most TTs use 24" and most Fivers use 30" or what?

I'm leaning towards 24" to make sure the jack doesn't stick out past the body edge.

surprised you don't have power jacks. They do loose stability as they approach full extension. A chunk of 4x6 or 6x6 treated fixes that.

I do. Should have stated it I guess. I just don't think they work well. Trailer still shakes thanks to those power jacks mounted at an angle.

ive considered adding a set to the middle of my 372rd but haven't done it yet because they would be under slides and a pain to set up. I have 12 or 14 inch blocks of 6x6 I put under my power jacks. I think it gives the jack more ground contact and help. I also hit the button again after being set up for a few hours to take the settling out.

Just remember, whatever size you select, the bigger the jack the more that will stick out to the side when retracted.

My TT only uses 24" and I use blocking so they don't get too straight when in use. I find a couple of the Camco "Lego Block Sets" are a big help. Store easy, easy to use, light weight, and don't look too "Hillbilly" when in use
