What, only a $108 bucks a can, buy two! Why does the dry lube, when sprayed, smell an aweful lot like silicone, hmm.
Been using the reasonably priced stuff for years. Also spray the bottom slide room outside floor, so it slides easier over the plastic guides. Mine is a lippert and that seems to keep the squeak to a minimum. Just sayin'

From just reading the Lippert product maintenance manual, it seems they recommend not lubricating at all (except for the motor drive shaft, which they say to use synthetic motor oil on)
"It is recommended that when operating in harsh environments (road salt, ice build up, etc) the moving parts be kept clean. They can be washed with mild soap and water. No grease or lubrication is necessary and in some situations may be detrimental to the environment and long term dependability of the system."

PTFE is Polytetrafluoroethylene (a solid fluorocarbon which is one of the lowest friction solids in existence)
Teflon is a brand name of Chemours (a spin-off of DuPont) who (accidentally) discovered PTFE, and sell PTFE based products.
So for all intents and purposes Teflon is PTFE
PTFE is very different from Silicone

You know Wolverine I saw the same price at Walmart.com and it looks like most of that price is a shipping surcharge. Not sure what is going on with the Waley world price but I asked others in the shipping business and they have never heard of any such thing.

BTW, I found the video for the in-wall Schwintek slide-outs, generally used for bedroom closet slides, and is not at all the same as the through-frame slides used for larger slides which have under floor rails (which have the documentation I quoted previously)

That is not what they showed on there Video I watched on Utube,,,
They show spraying the motor drive shaft with CRC Spray ???
As I said I used a White Lithium with PTFE on the outside motor shaft as the Video shows,,, I am think I will continue to use the same,,, so as not to mix lubes ??? Also this year I plan to try and find the motor shaft on the inside as they recommend,,, not sure that is even possibly ???
Love the slid outs,,, but they are a PITA !!!

If we saw the same video then it was for the Schwintek slide system, which has motors on each side of the slide, and is most commonly used for smaller slides (like closet slides) and is very different from the system on the bigger & more traditional slides, like our sofa/dinette slide, which have rails that go under the main floor.
If there's a different video, then I'd appreciate a link

Not sure I know how to add a link,,, There are several videos on Ytube,,,
The one I have been speaking of is a Lippert video,,,
In Wall Slid-Out System - Mechanism Lubrication...

I think that's the one I've seen, and is for the smaller slideouts, like the closet slideout they show, using the Schwintek system that has an in-wall motor attached to each slide rail ; rather than the type that has a single motor above the slideout and a cable system for closet slide-outs like mine, or the bigger system for room-slides.

Very correct statement that most fail to realize.
The Schwintek is an in wall slide system. (closet/wardrobe slides)
Two motors drive two rails attached to the slide side walls.
Then there is the through frame slide system. (dinette/sofa slides)
Two rails under the slide go through the frame and driven by a rack system.
And finally the above floor slide system. (bed slides)
Similar to the through frame but completely enclosed inside the trailer. (usually under the bed)
All completely different.
