Welcome! Beautiful camper and love that you're little one is out camping with you. My guess is my just-turned-2 year old son is similarly aged.

Do you all travel around? Or do you have a seasonal site?

I travel for work right now, so we are using it full time. Currently in southwest Kansas. Really windy out here!

Looks nice. I've noticed they have started to round out the front nose. Is this a '14 or '15 model?

Nice, we just did a 1600 mile trip to myrtle beach last week, pulled great, no issues.

Good to hear, I haven't pulled ours yet but the guy who delivered it said it pulled well.

Under the master bathroom sink, there is two lines that come up and there looks to be what I think is a check valve for the black tank flush. I was emptying my black tank yesterday and flushing it when that valve started leaking a little. So I tighten it and the leak stopped but it would make all kinds of chattering noises when I was flushing the tank. Any of you guys experience this? I'm wondering if the valve is broke.

Anti-syphon valve. Only purpose is to keep the system from letting black water go back into your hose. Several threads on the forum about these. I always delete them, or cut them out and just use a designated hose. They are required by the code the factory follows, but NOT required for the system to function. Noise is normal, leaking is common.

Here's a link to another thread on this same valve. If you choose to delete, follow the lines back into the basement and reconfigure there.

Our black tank flushes make noise too. No leaks though. Periodically check all threaded plumbing fittings for loosening over time, especially if traveling a lot. Just had a minor drip from the outdoor kitchen hot water fitting. Easy quick tightening on the threaded on part fixed it.

I wasn't really referring to leaking at the connections. The check valve itself will leak sometimes. If that valve sticks, which they can and will, sometimes you might have more water than you want in your cabinet. Most times, you'll just see a few drips. Every one I've owned has failed, thus removing all of them. If you're going to leave it in, just make sure you run and check it as soon as you start the water to it. Doesn't take long to flood under your bathroom vanity. Speaking from experience with these things.

It didn't make any noise at first but at the start of the second flushing it started chattering good.

I had one that made a high pitched hum. They make clear versions of those valves and you can see the inner workings.

I was thinking of buying a better quility one but I might just take it out, instead of worrying about it each time I flush the tanks.
