Trade in Values on X-lite?

I have a 241QBXL 2015 model that we bought 1 year ago in April. It's been awesome, we spent a bunch of weekends in this camper. However, it's small. With my wife being pregnant and my 7 year old daughter not getting any smaller (not to mention she always wants to take a friend) we are quickly out growing our snug little camper.

I read online that trade in on 1 year old campers is about 75% of original purchase, that would put me about $1000 less than what I owe. I can handle that, but is this a realistic number? If that is about what I am looking at then I am going to try and get the ball rolling on getting this done.

I am going to look at some 26RLSS models in the Wildwood and Puma. My truck can easily pull one and I know we could use the room.

I called Fun Town last night and talked to the sales guy I bought mine from 1 year ago. He said he thinks he can do the 75% or maybe even a little better since I'm a repeat customer. We will see, but it is true he said 75% is a good rule of thumb, but it is only 75% of the camper not anything else (taxes, delivery costs, or extras).

they will give you 100% if you ask for it, they will just sell you the next one at full MSRP. It's all a numbers game.

My wife picked out a camper she liked. I like it too. I'm trying to not get excited about this incase it falls through, but man a bigger camper would be sweet.

The camper she picked out is a wildwood 27RKSS.

Hope not to hijack this thread but it seems a good place post post a similar question. Anyone got figures for the 2nd and 3rd year value on a trade in? How about figures on selling to individuals directly, not a trade?

WELL!!! It's done! I'm going today to sign papers on a new WildWood 27RKSS!

This deal is perfect, not one thing about this that I don't like! I got more than I thought I would for my camper 85% of what I paid! I got a good chunk knocked off the advertised price, and I got an even better interest rate than I expected, and he shaved all the dealer fees (delivery fees and crap).

I'm stoked!!

Here is my new camper:

Sorry no one has been able to answer your question. Your best chance is to probably google search your camper and tag "for sale" at the end. That will let you know what the national average is. Another thing is to go here RV Prices, Values & Reviews - NADAguides It wont give you trade in, but it will let you know what retail is on it.

Rusty, it was one of your posts about the wildwood that came up on google and lead me to this forum. Good luck with your new trailer!

Thanks! I just bought my first camper, a 2015 261 BHXL; We've only made one trip with it so far and have really enjoyed it.
