After only one year, we outgrew our non-slide Catalina. We got a good deal on a '15 leftover X-lite, and I can't wait to get it out in the spring. Does anyone else have any insight on the "electric" package for the stabilizers and jack? It looks like it has the ability break easily.
We bought our 281QBXL last May and we're very satisfied. I didn't know it had the powered/remote control jacks until I took delivery and I love it. Being able to walk around the camper with the remote and lower the jacks and open the slide without having to run back to buttons are great features. I got 17 nights in last year and only had 1 problem: the bottom of the kitchen cabinets were dragging on the floor when we opened/closed the slide. The dealer was able to make an adjustment and now it work properly. Hope you enjoy your new camper!
We picked up our 2016 27rkss a couple months ago. It too has the electric stab jacks on all 4 corners. I must say that they do indeed look fragile. My dealer said, off the record, they are junk, don't know why they put them on and don't expect much out of them. They come down and put very little pressure on the ground. One comes down until it feels resistance then the other side comes down until it hits. Then they both go a hair more then stop. I like the convince but I liked my manual ones better.

Camco has a manual stabilizer assist for around 60$ they have great reviews and after you set your electrics you just set this unter the frame and tighten a ratchet strap.
