Truck Rear End Sway While Towing

Hello folks. We have a 2016 Wildwood 30kqbss which we use to tow with an older truck 2007 Dofge Ram 1500 4x4 SLT Big Horn. My wife finally said I could get a newer truck as long as the color matched our TT. Lol. Well I elected to purchase a 2011 Ram 1500 4x4 SLT Big Horn 5.7 Hemi (love my rams and Hemi)
Here lies the issue. The older ram had leaf spring and the newer Ram has coils in the rear. After taking it out 3 weeks ago I noticed that the rear of the truck actually sways. You can feel it moving sided to side.
I have readjusted the Equalizer 4 or sway WDH and it still does it.
I ordered some Air Lift air bags (#60818) and they will arrive tomorrow to see if that helps.
We have a 300 mile tow next weekend so I want to try and fix this issue
Has anyone else had this issue?

What tires are on the TV? If they are P tires, you may want to upgrade to LT tires. It will make a difference in side to side movement.

Could it have something to do with the truck tires? I installed airbags on my Silverado and while they added convenience they didn't do anything for sway as the little I have with the truck is tire movement. I don't inflate them much when towing, up to 15 psi from 10. If inflated much more than that the airbags will affect the setup of the WDH. I have the Equalizer also and it does an amazing job as far as the trailer.

I just put cooper discoverer h/t plus tires on my 07 ram about 8 months ago and they did great with towing. I had the dealer put my coopers in the 11 ram when I bought it (they had wranglers on it)
These coopers have the reinforced side walls and did great on my other truck
I am of the opinion that it is the different rear suspension (coils instead of leaf springs)
I am hopeful that the air bags stiffen the coils since these bags mount inside the coil itself?

Tires? Air Bags? Or it maybe time to upgrade the hitch to a Hensley.

Lol on the Hensley. I had to get rid of my boat because the wife wanted a camper. I have invested a ton on her "wants." If I can fix this white knuckle pulling then "hopefully" the money flow out will stop.

Hensley hitch will do nothing for his truck suspension.

If I read the OP correctly the issue is sway, which may or may not be symptomatic of his truck's suspension.

Whether towing with leaf or coil springs, however, the Hensley (or the Propride 3P, which I tow with) will eliminate the sway completely.

If he has P rated tires on the TV, no hitch will eliminate the sway. He has to get LT LR D at a minimum on the TV. JMO
