TV Mount in 24TBSS

JUst bought our first RV, we found a great deal on a new Wildwood 24TBSS, it ofcourse didnt come with a tv. It does have all of the necessary hook ups in a cabinet very similar to the 26TBSS but without the swivel. I want to put a 24 inch flat screen on the family room side, but I have concerns over the thickness of the material. It looks like I will drill right through the other side of the entertainment cabinet into the bedroom. Anyone have any experience with these models or similar. Any help would be appreciated.

to the site and congrats on your new RV! Your trailer is really nice with lots of space. Sorry but I can't answer your question but wanted to say hello.

What, if anything, is mounted behind the entertainment center on the bedroom side?

Nothing is mounted on the other side, its just the same wood paneling wall. It has hook ups for another TV in the ceiling.

I think that is what Im going to do, I plan on putting another tv directly behind the mount in the bedroom. I think Im going to get a some 1/2 or 3/4 ply and sandwich it between two mounts.

I promise I'm not totally trying to hijack your thread, but I have some pictures of my 26tbss, and I had a similar question. Mine does swivel, and the back panel (which typically for us is on the bed side) is a different material than that on the inside of the entertainment center TV compartment. One of the pictures shows the profile view, and another shows a spot on the bottom where you can indeed see that there is some plywood of some sort between the layers of "cardboard" coated with a wood veneer.

I'll post the pictures shortly, I'm uploading to imageshack. This is a shot of the bottom of the swiveling unit.
