Thanks for all the recommendations everyone! A big part of why we enjoy RV'ing is the cammeraderie. It's been a while and here's my final install. Looking forward to our next camping trip....entertainment options inside and out!
TV: Naxa 19", 12V flat LED HDTV w/DVD (
www.campingworld.com)
Mount: Ready America Travel TV Wall Mount w/2 mounts and nylon straps (
www.my12voltstore.com)
Add'l Hardware: Piece of 1/4" hardwood, 3" wood bolts/washers/nuts, electrical cord covers (Home Depot)
Install: Matched all holes for mount and drilled into the (only) stud in the bunk wall. Secured on other side of wall with the large flat washers and nuts. The mount will NOT move. In my research it became apparent that the weight at the moment of the mount would likely wreck the wall in transit
w/o a good piece of wood to help strengthen/distribute the weight. The covers were adhesive stick on, push wires in easy install. This was to help avert our kiddos from grabbing. Exterior install I used the stock screws from the mount package. I found the exact location of where the bunk wall meets the side of the trailer and drilled it straight thru. As with our door handle, I filled the holes with caulk to help seal prior to bolting the hardware down. As with the interior mount, does NOT move.
Again, thanks for all the help....here are some pics.
