Was given a RVQ grill. But how to mount it?

I was given an rvq that is missing the bracket which screws into the exterior wall. I wouldn't mount it that way anyways. But I'm not going to turn down a free grill. Been playing with ideas of how to mount it to the bumper. I figure get a 2 inch bracket like the spare tire is mounted on but turn it sideways. Then slide a truck bed extender bracket into it. The bracket can slide in and out and the grill will only be on it while camping. The extender is 60 bucks. Which is way cheaper than an actual rvq bumper mount. Thoughts?Click image for larger version

Similar idea, I have a toolbox hitch bracket I bought at Tractor Supply that slides into a 2" receiver that bolts onto the square bumper that I use for my Honda EU2000i generator. The bracket doesn't take up much room in the bed of the truck and is easy to install when I set up. A dog crate sites on plywood bolted to the bracket and protects the generator from the rain. The grill should fit on the bracket as well. You can bolt a piece of plywood to the bracket to create whatever size work space you want.Click image for larger version
