Question Water Filter on 2016 Wildwood 26TBSS

We have looked high and low on this thing for the water filter.
Behind panels in kitchen and bath. Do we not have one?
Is it hidden behind something?
Our Mini Lite had one, just assumed all Rockwoods had one.

Anyone know for sure?

Thanks
Karen

Probably don't have it. My 2016 27rkss didn't either. However, it was super easy to install an in line, on the cold side only for coffee, in the kitchen. It goes down to 5 micron. Every thing is filtered with the camco 150 micron outside at the hose.

Thanks, Wa11y,
We decided that if it is hidden behind a panel, we don't want to mess with it. Easier to use the filter on the water hose.
We also discovered that some hot rod with a caulking gun put a dab of caulk over the breather hole on the filler opening for the fresh water tank. Really??? Not sure we can poke enough holes through the clogged screening for the hose to breathe. Trying that today. If not working, going to dealer for a new filler cap.

That hole is caulked fo a reason. There is a breather hose on the top off the tank that should extend out the bottom of the tt. I think they plug the the one ur talking about so nothing can "run" into it contaminating the tank. Look for 2, usually white and one with a valve, poking out under the tt.

thank you for that info.
Did not know this. Will have DH crawl under trailer and look. He has already been under tying up loose wires and checking other items.
These camper units all have their own quirks. Still learning and trying to figure things out.
First outing with this new unit this weekend. Hoping we got everything covered.

Just an FYI, if you do have one, you'll probably want to find it before you have to winterize. They are notorious for cracking if you don't get all the water out and they freeze.

Thank you, we did think about that but so far Wa11y is right. No filter.
Then the next issue was not being able to fill the fresh water tank. DH pulled fitting off, then looked under the fridge and the fill hose was going uphill! Got that adjusted and got the tank filled.
NOW, we can't get it to drain!! Valve turned open but it is just dripping! Now what?
Going to search forum for some help if you and Wa11y can't help.

If it can't drain, maybe it's vacuum locking due to no vent...maybe ur "vent " is caulked over. Dang.....so many options on these things...

I think I would rather have a used camper again. This unit is brand new. What a pita.
Will see if DH can find what is going on with your suggestions.

Thanks again.

Look by your water pump. Did you find that?

Ya know, I just noticed that your profile says "rockwood " and wildwood" I asume u have the 2016 wildwood 26tbss. And I did some research and saw that rockwoods have the water filter as stock equipment. I think rockwood is a step up from the wildwood..... but I've never had a rockwood.

Yes found the water pump. No filter. Pretty sure it didn't come with one. Will just use the filter on the hose. Much easier anyway and don't have to worry about it when we winterize.
Thanks!

I need to change that profile.

We just sold the Rockwood Mini. It did have a filter but this new Wildwood definitely does not. Lots of things this Wildwood doesn't have that the Mini did.
Spent the entire day just "fixing" little things. I am definitely learning about
TTs. If I ever buy another one, definitely will do it differently.
But doubt that happens. Will just get this one fixed up for us and pass it along to someone else.
