Have a 2016 262bhxl and just took it out for its 10th trip. Camper is awesome but I just ran the lp tanks out for the first time and my dsi flt light came on in the process. Just refilled my tanks but can't seem to get the light to go off and get the hot water heater going again. I've read that I have to leave it off for awhile but how long do I have to leave it off? I think that's the issue because I've never had problems with anything. Any input is greatly appreciated...
Also, what's the LPI light for?
(New to camping myself)
It's DSI, not LPI.
It's stands for Direct Spark Ignition for the propane side of the WH.

But I can guess at his fix, and advise it to anyone else that has this issue with their water heater or with the fridge running on gas.
Once the gas runs dry, the line will have a big "slug" of air in it. The water heater and fridge will typically only try to light for a set amount of time and then fault out.
What I do anytime I turn on the gas is to turn on the gas stove and either use a lighter or keep hitting the igniter button until you see a flame. Then you know the lines are flushed with propane and ready to go.
You can also just keep turning the other appliance (fridge or water heater) on and off so that it keeps trying until the gas reaches it. But this requires more time and effort in my opinion.
