.
just finished sanitizing and during the process I noticed 2 "drain" lines under the almost rear end, left side - have a placard on the tt vertical side reading "Low Point Drain"
can someone tell me their function (it's 2 lines, side by side, pointing down, each with a screw-on plastic cap)
These are the low point drains that drain the water from your lines for winterization. Some units have 2 sets of these depending on length and number of baths/sinks.
.
no design engineer here but wouldn't it have been easier to simply have the system drain be the "low point" drain ?
thanks for the reply.....Bill
What is the system drain to which you refer?

I believe he means when you dump the fresh water that should be your low point drain as well .
Not sure why you would want that but I guess thats what I took from it .

what I meant was.....I believe it would be a better setup if there was ONE drain to rid the entire fresh water system, rather than more than one.....Bill

I have a 04 jayco 32'. I have a low point drain (two lines coming down)just outside the bath and two at the rear.
The ones outside the bath are dripping. What is going on? My lines have no caps.
Where do these lines come from? I guess I can trace them.
Thanks!!
