When to use Water Pump?

Hello,

We have a Wildwood 2015 252RLXL trailer. When I hook up the water, do I need to turn on the water pump, or is that only to be turned on when using the water tank and not hooked directly to the water line?

Thanks

You will also use it when you winterize your TT.

What do you use it for to winterize camper? New camper owner myself, just bought a 261BHXL in March of this year - never been through a winter with it.

Thanks!

I don't use my water tank and pump, no need to winterize them.

Ox, if you use the city water connection you will need to winterize your trailer, and you will have water all the way up to the water pump. If you dont use any water then you are all set.

You only need to use the pump when you're not hooked to outside water. When you're hooked to 'city' water, leave the pump off.

Some of us winterize our units with rv anti freeze and use the water pump to pump that rv anti freeze through the system

The OP isn't asking about winterizing. They're original question was
Quote:

. You probably wouldn't be hooking up the water if you're trying to winterize.

Don't turn on pump if you're hooked to city water. Simple as that.
