Here is a pic of my rack, this is not my trailer, but the same rack, as you can see if I were to mount a spare tire on the bumper it would interfere with the rack when in the down position.

Just purchase a new 26tbss and now I am getting ready to purchase a truck to pull it. I was wondering what everyone was pulling there trailer with?

Recommend a Diesel

You can pull it with a 1/2 ton(I used a Tahoe LT) as long as you have a good weight distribution hitch. But we upgraded to a fifth wheel and moved to a Ford F250 Turbo Diesel beforehand. If you want to feel comfortable get a diesel. It will pull like a dream with the weight distribution hitch and if you decide to upgrade you can drop a fifth wheel hitch in the bed and go. Always better to have more vehicle than RV, not the other way around.

I pull ours with a 2010 Nissan Armada SE 4x4. It is a 1/2 and feels good pulling. Get 7-10mpg average.

We live in Illinois so we have not gotten to use it yet. But we are very excited to get out in the camper. The couple nice days we have had this year we slide the slide out out and find ourselves sitting in the camper dreaming of warmer weather. We really like the camper and can't wait to get out with it. I test drove a new ecoboost on Friday and was wondering what it was like to pull the camper.

Big dog. What gear do you have in your truck and did you encounter any hills or is it flat ground.
