Wildwood changed from aluminum to fiberglass laminate sides?

Just bought a 2017 27RLSS TT, really like it so far. All the Wildwood literature shows aluminum siding for this model, but mine is smooth fiberglass, I assume some kind of laminate. Does anyone know if maybe they switched to laminate in the 2017 model year? If so, what type of construction, vacuum laminated or other?

Regards,
Rick

I know with the Grey Wolf that comes standard as Aluminum, that you can upgrade to fiberglass, so maybe the dealer ordered it like that.

Thanks, we are happy with it so far. I like the look of the fiberglass sides, but when I search other dealers online they are all aluminum siding for this model, makes me curious how mine is fiberglass.

Dealers will usually stock what sells best in their area. The aluminum siding cost a little less so you often see it in entry level units.

I purposely purchased the wildwood with aluminum sides. Disappointingly 9 months later two of the panels failed and it took 12 weeks to get them replaced. I'm sure fiberglass would have waited until the end of the warranty period to fail.
