Dual LP Gas Tanks

Okay, so I have a 2015 W&P. I switched the valve on the regulator to the left tank and I get no gas going into the stove. Only the right tank. So I replaced the dual stage regulator and the secondary 30psi regulator thinking it was that and still no flow from the second tank to the stove. So now I'm thinking it may be a clogged or defective hose? Any advice?

Did you change the hose from the second side to the first tank to see if you have a defective tank?

this may sound dump but are you sure the tank is turned on? If it is try closing the valve disconnect the pigtail wait a few seconds and reconnect then turn the tank back on that should reset the safety valve if that was the problem. Let the forum know what you find and how you correct it please.

Went to Lazy Days today to follow up on issue. He thinks it could be a clogged hose or stuck LP Gas Valve. Will try that and get back with you.

Most of the pigtails to the tank now have brass check valve fittings. They seem to get stuck frequently. I replaced mine with straight through fittings. Might check those.

That explains why when I took off the pigtail from the regulator and attached it to the tank, turned on the valve and very little air came out of the just filled tank. Is there anyway I can correct the issue?

Very good advice

The pigtails I've seen have brass fittings at the end that attaches to the regulator. They should just unscrew from the pigtail. Most RV places have replacement fittings, or go to a hardware store and get the same fitting but without the check valve.

When you did your test with just the pigtail on the tank, did it start out with normal flow of gas then quickly subside? If so, the safety valve in the tank itself was activated. They prevent large flows from the tank if a line is cut or fails.

Good luck! Let us know what the solution winds up being!

So I've spent a weeek at an RV campground and received some insight on my tanks. Secondary regulator should be removed and replaced with a coupling for direct gas flow to primary regulator. Will be trying that.

On another note, the AC unit drips with condensation on my table in this hot Florida weather. I'm hoping the units components don't go bad (dials). Anyway to resolve this issue?
