I figured out this web site now. You must think I'm a dummy. I would be happy to pay for anything you got. I just want my wife to feel this purchase is worth it. So far she's on board 100%.... but i haven't took her out camping yet! Lol

Nearly all RV manufacturers only provide a generic owners manual.

There won't be anything specific to your model of trailer.

Heck, they aren't even specific to type of RV.

Hutch, welcome to the forums.

Reading is your friend. Just about all scenarios you will encounter, have been experienced and shared here by others.

The first things I always suggest in the understanding and operation of your RV is the electrical systems, so you don't overload the electrical, if you have a 30 amp RV or power supply. They are in these links below.

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ics-29336.html

Basic RV Electricity - RV Information (RV Maintenance)

Understanding the function of your converter:

RV Converters and Amp Draw - RV Information (RV Maintenance)

And understanding the operation of a dual power source water heater like the Suburban (if equipped on yours)

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ore-36197.html

Once you have this down pat, then you need to understand how to safely connect, disconnect, and tow the RV, which can be applied later. ALWAYS chock the wheels on the trailer so it cannot roll forwards or backwards. We'll cover that later.

Good luck and feel free to ask questions. That's why we are ALL here.

I have owned a 2006 model 8528BHSS in the past so I am probably familiar with your unit if you have any specific questions.
